Nihilist Spasm Band has performed with various lineups since their formation in London, Ontario in 1965. Known internationally for their home-made instruments and unconventional approaches to tuning, tempo, and time signature, the Nihilist Spasm Band are considered one of the first noise bands and founded the long running series 'No Music Festivals'. For the opening of LIVE 2005, the Nihilist Spasm Band performed at Western Front presented by Western Front Music.
