Lezli Rubin-Kunda spent five days wandering Vancouver, collecting plant materials, debris, and assorted objects: a process of playing and exploring the intertwining of the magnificent and the mundane, from primal forest to parking lots. After exploring the properties and possibilities of gathered materials in relation to her body by using them in private rituals, photos, sketches, and notes acted as a backdrop for the presentation of video documentation and a live performance as a final act. This performance was presented by Western Front as part of the Contemporary Ritual performance series.
