Vancouver Police Museum and Archives

The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is an independent museum run by the Vancouver Police Historical Society, a registered charity. The museum’s foundations began in celebration of the Vancouver Police Department’s centennial anniversary in 1986 and have since expanded beyond the blue lens of local law enforcement to include the history of the Coroner’s Court building that houses the museum. The Vancouver Police Museum and Archives is dedicated to preserving the history and memory of British Columbia’s largest independent municipal agency, the historic City Coroner’s Services and the City Analyst's Laboratory. It serves as an educational institution, living memorial, cultural anchor, and bridge between Vancouver citizens, visitors and local law enforcement.
