This series contains records related to Vance's prolific work as City Analyst and forensics investigator. The records include general notes and correspondence, calculations, and his work specifically related to the Royal Visit in 1939, along with food, dairy, and water reports. Included are certificates of the City Analyst and newspaper clippings collected by Vance that related to cases he worked on, or those that reported on his career. The series includes photographs of the bomb package received by Vance along with images of the threatening letters he received in 1934.
