The Sointula Museum researches, collects, conserves, interprets and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of Malcolm Island (T'lat'laskudis, Malkosaari). The Museum is open to the public, accessible and inclusive. Sointula, on Malcolm Island, is a settlement off the tip of Northern Vancouver Island that was settled by Finnish Socialists in 1901. The Museum presents a hands-on educational experience, and its archive includes a variety of artifacts, publications and photographs specific to the development of this unique community.
