Depuis sa création il y a vingt ans, Le Festival d’été
est devenu un événement populaire au sein de la
communauté francophone et pour les habitants
de Vancouver en général. Le Centre a su sétablir
comme un acteur principal au sein de notre
communauté dans les domaines artistiques,
communautaires et éducationnels, facilitant
laccés a tous aux activités francophones.

Nous sommes heureux de vivre dans une ville
multiculturelle. Tout au long de l'année il y a
plusieurs manifestations culturelles dans la ville
de Vancouver et certaines dentre elles comme
le Festival d’été nous aident 4 améliorer notre
ouverture dans les deux langues officielles du Canada. Sram

Since its inception 20 years ago, Festival dété has become a popular event for our
francophone citizens as well as Vancouverites in general.

Le Centre has established itself as the cornerstone of artistic, community and
educational programming for the francophone sector of our community.

We are fortunate to live in a thriving multicultural city. Throughout the year there
are many cultural celebrations in the city of Vancouver but few match the acclaim
of the festival dété and helps us do it in both of Canada’s official languages.

On behalf of Vancouver City Council, we would like to thank all the participants °
and organizers of this wonderful event. Congratulations on your first 20 years and’
our best wishes for a fantastic festival.
