Rauh City Clerk Noise Control Bylaw No. 2891 Ny oir eae ‘ Mee Sg hey ed pe! eae RECOMMENDATION: That third reading of Bylaw No. 2891 be rescinded; That the "Noise Control Bylaw, 1994, No. 2891" be amended by deleting section 7, ¢. and replacing it with the following; "7 «, The erection, demolition, construction, reconstruction, alteration or rep of any building or structure between Monday and Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m, and Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m, to 7:00 p.m.;" That Bylaw No. 2891 be read a third time as amended. At the Council Meeting of September 26, 1994, this itern was referred to the Protective Services Committee to consider a separate time frame for residential construction performed by the property owners. During discussion on enforcement of construction noise and the consequences for two categories of workers it was agreed that the main objective was to allow a later start time on Saturday to provide the public with the opportunity for rest, enjoyment and comfort of their neighbourhood.
