The Hentage Art Walk features two self-guided walking tours Sat- urday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The walk is presented by the Sidney and North Saanich Arts Council and the Sidney Heritage Advisory Committee and gives people the chance to see the town in a new light, said organizer Janet Remmer. “We want people to be aware that the history and beauty of Sidney 1s more than skin deep,” she said. Remmer, a watercolor painter, is just one of the artists taking part in the art walk. Others registered to appear include tapestry weaver Diane Cross, wood sculptor Gil Montgomery and painter Lotte Zonnenberg. A map of the two routes is available at the Sidney Museum. Both begin at the Fish Market on Beacon Avenue and continue to the Sidney Museum.
