Nimble needlework displayed Exquisite needlework dat- ing back over 100 years will be displayed at the Sidney museum Starting Friday and continuing until August 9. On display will be 18 quilts Tanging from work done in the 19th century to modern quilts. Collected from area residents, “the quilts have been chosen to illustrate the different designs, techniques and pattems of quilting over the decades. The history of the quilts will be posted during the exhibit, which will be open from 10 a.m. to4 p.m. daily. On Saturday, Sunday and Mon- day, members of the Deep Cove Spinners and Weavers will display hand dying techniques in addition to demonstrations of spmning and weaving.
