The Sidney and North Saanich Community Arts Council and the Sidney Association of Merchants are sponsoring a children’s paint- in during the sale. The event will be held between 11 am. and 3 p.m. outside the. Village Gallery. Children will be able to register at a table set up in the centre of Beacon Avenue. The arts council will provide paper and children are invited to bring paints, crayons, pencils or pastels to create their work. They should also bring a piece of card- board on which to place their work and something to sit on.
