RIGHT RIDERS

Right Riders Rodeo, a bike rodeo for
Sidney and North Saanich students in
grades one to six, will be held at the
Panorama Leisure Centre from 9 am to 1
pm. The event is open to any youngster and
winners of the preliminary classes will
compete for $1,100 in gift certificates
donated by the Sidney Lions Club. Spon-
sored by the RCMP and the Sidney Lions, .
the event tests children’s knowledge of
bicycle riding rules and encourages safety.

BIKE BUCKEROOS
A bike rodeo for children in Central

Saanich will be held on the Saanich Fruit
Growers Association property on Keating
Crossroad starting at 10 am. The rodeo is
open to children aged 5 to 12 and is
co-sponsored by the Central Saanich Police
Department and the Peninsula Co-op Store.

MUSICALE

An afternoon of music followed by
refreshments will be presented from 2 to 4
pm at the Silver Threads Centre, 10030
Resthaven Drive, Sidney. Sponsored by
Sidney Caregivers, the event is open to
caregivers, caretakers and friends. No
