COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL: sun’s danger chills Hunier Lynn Hunter, MP for the Saa- nich-Gulf Islands nding, has come out with a strong waming about the dangers of exposure to sunlight and the urgent need for awareness programs and regulation of sun- screens and sunglasses. Reiterating her concerns about ozone depletion, she said one in seven Canadians born this year will develop skin cancer and the associated costs will hopelessly over-burden the Medicare system unless urgent steps are taken.
