| Membership/ public relations/ fundraising committee plans on increased profile by Paul Deeton Committee Chainman The membership/public rela- tions/fundraising committee will look at increasing the membership in our Chamber by increasing the Chamber profile in the community and region. PAUL DEETON Naturally, funding is important in order to do this, and projects will be undertaken to raise the needed dollars. Committee members are Mari- lyn Lee (General Manager), Caro- lyn Kornatz, Cory Porter, John Robertson, Rory McGrath and chairman Paul Deeton. We have also produced a Busi- ness Directory which will be sent free of charge to our members in early February. It will encourage “members doing business with members.” If membership warrants there is the: possibility of doing a six- month update later in the year. We are in the process of devel- oping a Membership Recruitment Project. More information on that will be in next month’s newsletter. We will be keeping you updated on the Third Annual Golf Tourna- ment to be held at Glen Meadows Golf and Country Club on Sep- tember 18 — mark your calendar now! We are also planning to make a recommendation to the Board con- ceming a major fundraising event planned for the area in the spring of 93. If you wish to be involved with this committee please call the Chamber office at 656-3616.
