The students, ranging in age from 14 to 15-years, will attend Parkland, Claremont and Belmont secondary schools for the 1991-92 school year, organizer Lucio Mar- ampon said. Last year, two students from the US.S.R. attended Parkland School and one was accepted to continue her studies at Pearson College. Several families became involved last year to provide a Canadian home, Marampon said. Arina Shulga attended Parkland and found accommodation with Michelle and Graham Gignac while Soviet student Dennis Sure- gan attended Claremont and stayed with Phil and Wendy Warren. “There are benefits to the Russi- ans and to the Canadian family,” Marampon said.
