WILD: AFTER A sudden illness on
May 8, 1991. Mr. John Edgar Wild, born
December 28, 1913 in Winnipeg, Mani-
toba. John served overseas in the
Canadian Provost Gorps from 1939
until 1945. Predeceased on December
‘7, 1989 by his beloved wife, Ruth.
Survived by his loving daughters Jean-
ette Honke and son-in-law Bert of Win-
nipeg and Joan Cowell and son-in-law
Glen of High River, AB; step daughters
Roberta Vinnell of Richmond, B.C.;
Allison Lafortune and son-in-law Mi-
chael of Sidney, B.C. and step son
Ronald Vinnell and wife Helen of Winni-
peg, MB. As well as numerous grand-
children and greatgrandchildren. We
would like to send our sincere thanks to
Dr. Wray and staff of the Saanich
Peninsula Hospital for all their kindness
and support. Cremation has taken
place at John’s request. He is now at
peace with his beloved Ruth under the
old oak tree. In lieu of flowers donations
to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital
Foundation P.O. Box 1000, Saanichton,
B.C. VOS 1MO0 will be gratefully accept-

BATHGATE: WILLIAM CAMPBELL at
his home on May 7, 1991. He was sadly
missing his wife Margaret who prede-
ceased him in February, 1991. He will
be missed by his family and friends.
Born in 1909 in Winnipeg, graduate of
Kelvin High School, he served as a
flying instructor for the RCAF during
World War II. Survived by his daughters
Joan Douglas and Nancy Webb; grand-
children Marcia and Jeffrey Edmond,
Douglas and James Nanton. Service of
Remembrance was held at St. Pauls
United Church, 2410 Malaview Ave.,
Sidney on Friday, May 10, 1991 at 3:00
pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to the charity of one’s choice.
