Cae News ee Expansion plans for the Swartz Bay terminal are detailed in a display trailer at the terminal which is open seven days a week, 6:30 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. Interested residents can visit the trailer through the terminal admin- istration office or while waiting to board a ferry. Comments are invited on infor- mation cards. The display outlines the work to be done over the next three years. The short and long-term parking lots, on the west side of the terminal, are to be completed by April 1992 and the vehicle holding compound is to be completed by October 1992. A new terminal building is to be constructed by October 1992 and the docks upgraded by February 1993. The Lands End interchange is to be completed by May 1992. More ticket booths, short term : and long-term parking will be provided, especially to meet the need for the increasing number of foot passengers. The information trailer will be on site during the entire upgrading process with displays changed as construction proceeds, A model of the upgraded termi- nal and the Lands End-Curteis Point interchange is on display at North Saanich municipal hall until April 3.
