A spokesman for the Vancouver Island distributor of natural gas, Centra Gas, told council recently that construction of a pipeline between Langford and Sidney will Start in April. Dennis Maxwell said cost to the consumer of changing over to © natural gas from oil will be between $2,100 and $3,000, offset by a $700 government grant.
