March 20 POETRY READING An award winning Victoria poet, Patricia Young, will give a free poetry reading at the Sidney and North Saanich Regional Library starting at 7:30 pm. Young has published The Mad and Beautiful Mothers, Travelling the Floodwaters, Melancholy Ain’t no Baby and All I ever Needed Was a Beautiful Room. Her work received national awards in 1988 and 1989 and a provincial award in 1987.
