This agency serving the youth of our community provides direction and

es Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation $1,000.00 donation

These funds will help address the equipment needs of our community
hospital which are over and above normal government funding.

Mount Newton Senior Citizen Centre $1,000.00 donation

Working with community health care professionals to provide comprehensive
services for seniors.

We are proud to offer our support
to these worthwhile groups.

Youth Scholarships $1,800.00

Kirsten Pope was the recipient of the $500.00 Bud Nunn award offered to a graduating student
for academic excellence. Trina Ruffles and Victor Tuomi received $200.00 each as runners-up.

Gina Gregory was the recipient of the $500.00 Jack Groves award offered for demonstrated
excellence outside the academic sphere especially for community service. Tye Swallow and
Janice Gibson received $200.00 each as runners-up.

10th Tsarilip Boy Scout Group $1,943.00 donation

Each year Peninsula Co-op and the Boy Scouts sell locally grown Christmas trees. Your tree
purchases through the Co-op help support this worthwhile organization. We are pleased to
donate $1,943.00 for all the Christmas trees sold in December 1990.
