Schedule Subject To Change - Watch Cable 11 For Detailed List- ings TheReview Concerns that three dogs at 1525-Keating Crossroad may be dangerous to the public have prompted Central Saanich council to consider giving more of a bite to its animal control bylaw. But three people who com- plained to council about the dogs earlier this month may be crying wolf, the executive director of the Victoria SPCA said in a letter to council. Lynn West said “numerous” patrols by two SPCA officers on Keating Crossroad have not found Wednesday, January 30,1991 — A10Q Bylaw getting more bite the two rottweilers and one terrier belonging to Terry Craft to be at large. Neither have the dogs displayed vicious behavior when the officers visited Craft’s home, even when Craft was not there, West said. Concerns of two of Crafts neighbors, Jim Hume and Al Motiuk, are based on “what the dogs may do, rather than when they have done,” she said. West said “the idea of penaliz- ing a dog for what it may do” is legally questionable. Nee DR. W. DAVID ROBB w.p.c.m.
