Vandalism wrecks shiny red Chevy A shiny new red paint job on a 1971 Chev two-door hardtop was destroyed when the vehicle was scratched on its hood, trunk and along both sides with a sharp object sometime Saturday night, Sidney RCMP said. The vehicle was parked on Resthaven Drive, two blocks north of Beacon Avenue in Sidney. The damage was estimated at $2,000 and was discovered at about 12:35 a.m. Sunday.
