Greetings:

On behalf of the organizing committee of this the 6th
annual Sidney Dixieland Jazz Festival, I welcome you to this
years exciting musical event.

Six years ago, a dedicated group of jazz fans formed the
Sidney Jazz Society and developed the format of what was to
become the Dixieland Jazz Festival. We salute these friends
of music for their hard work and patience over the years.
This year many new faces have joined the society and have
brought with them a wealth of talent and experience, which
will allow us to present the best show yet.

We have drawn this years’ talent from far and wide and are
especially pleased to introduce you to a mix of professional
musicians and, also the younger ‘stars of the fulure’ featured
in the local high school jazz bands.

While in Sidney, be sure to visit with our local merchants
as many are participating in this years’ theme with special in
store and front window displays.

Music is for everyone...so, while in Sidney please enjoy
our Festival.
