Driver injured

The driver of a 1965 Ford sedan
that was turning left off Henry
Avenue onto Resthaven Drive was
taken to hospital by ambulance
after her vehicle hit a northbound
1985 Subaru, Sidney RCMP said.

Shannon Atherford, 37, received
minor injuries and was released
from hospital after treatment,
police said.

A 38-year-old Sidney man, Bri-
an Francoeur, driving the Subaru,

was not injured in the 8:15 a.m.
