Wagnor shot a two-under-par opening round and followed up with a score of 74 the next day to win the tournament by a clear three strokes. As a team, Parkland placed an impressive fourth overall among the 22 schools competing. The other team members whose fine play earned them such a high team standing were Kurt Eeg, Richard Littlejohns and Brent Hoeppner. Coach Scott Clark said Parkland had an outstanding tournament but Wagnor was the clear star of the two-day event. “Wagnor is a very good golfer but doesn’t usually get the recog- nition he deserves. Frankly, I think he has a great future ahead of him,” he said. =e lara | WITH THIS AD feta Cot 2440 BEVAN AVE.
