Central Saanich police said a 1988 Nissan four-door sedan apparenily went through a red light and struck a 1986 Ford Tempo that was eastbound through the intersection. A 43-year-old Saanichton woman driving the Tempo and her 15-year-old daughier were rushed to hospital with injuries, (police said. A third vehicle, a 1984 Nissan truck red'in color, was also hit. lf was waiting in the left-turn lane northbound when the accident happened. A 29-year-old Sidney woman in the truck was hurt and taken to hospital, where she was treated and released.
