_Community Hot Jazz Tonight Be WARMED UP and ready fo play in the Hot Jazz concert fonight at Parkland Secondary are these members of the school’s jazz band. Toes will be tapping and hands clapping tonight at Parkland Secondary when the school’s jazz band’ presents its second Hot Jazz concert starting at 7:30 p.m. Director Mark Fraser describes the group as the best jazz band the school has ever produced. Most of the 15 members have been in the band for the past two years and some have been involved for three years. Almost every band member will be featured as a soloist during the concert. Over the 90 minute performance, 22 pieces of music will be performed. Included are slow ballads, up-tempo rock pieces, Latin numbers and slow blues.
