Exercise brings results Aerobic exercise 1s great preventative medicine. Activities which requires the large muscles of the body to work continuously for 20 minutes or more — such as jogging, cycling, rowing, swimming or brisk walking — bring a host of benefits. Research shows aerobic exercise increases blood volume, increases hemoglobin concentration in red blood cells, increases the amount of blood delivered with each beat of the heart, lowers the resting heart rate, reduces the level of harmful cholesterol, increases muscle cell capacity to utilize oxygen to produce more energy, increases muscle capacity to use fat as fuel, increases lung capacity and strengthens tendons, cartilages and bones. Exercise is also credited with improved mental outlook and self-image, reduction of tension and anxiety and improved self-discipline, motivation and self-determination. “IMPROVING YOUR HEARING IS OUR CONCERN” MRS.
