Resident David Woodward pre- sented council with a petition containing 41 names of people concemed that traffic on the road — particularly trucks — drive too ~ fast and endanger pedestrians. Several people at the meeting including Woodward suggested that council should consider a bylaw to force heavy trucks to be re-routed down Central Saanich he said. However, council was unable to immediately satisfy residents’ demands, saying there was no easy solution to the problem.
