And a SUPER BAKED ONION SOUP can be made like this: In each of 4 onion soup bowls (the porcelain kind which can be put in a hot oven), put the contents of one packet of onion cup-of- soup. This has to be the kind where there are 4 individual serv- ings to the package. Now tear 4 slices of bread (any _ kind) into pieces and add 1 slice torn bread to each bowl. Pour 6 oz. boiling water carefully on top of the bread. Now grate up two cups of any kind of cheese, use up small ends of old cheese, or mix together different kinds of cheese if you like, and divide between the four bowls. Put the bowls on a cookie sheet under a hot broiler and leave until the cheese has melted, bub- bles and starts to brown. Remove and serve. Don’t forget to remind » _ everyone that it’s HOT!
