Transit bus travelling from Brentwood to Sid- ney about 6:30 p.m. March 12. The man is described to be about 25-years-old, about five- foot-nine, with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes and a pierced ear. The man was wearing gray cotton pants and a gray cotton sports jacket at the time, deputy police Chief George Lawson said. A composite drawing of the man is being sent to other Greater Victoria police forces, Lawson said. Apparently, the man was intoxi- cated and touched the girl on the breast while riding the bus, Law- son said. $15,000 worth of tools recovered by police Central Saanich police recoy- ered about $15,000 worth of tools from a Brentwood Bay residence, March 17. Included in the recovered tools were carpentry and air tools that police believe were stolen from a truck parked outside of the Bren- twood Inn March 2. “We're still in the process of discovering where all the tools came from,” deputy police Chief George Lawson said. ““We’ve associated some of the recovered tool to thefts in our area and as far away as Alberta.” Included in recovered items are various Makita power hand tools, Craftsman hand tools, saws, T- squares, drills and various hand tools. Two Brentwood men will face charges, Lawson said. Driver charged A 19-year-old Victoria man was charged with making an improper turn after he lost control of the 1976 Chev Nova he was driving on Oldfield Road near Keating Cross- road about 6:40 p.m. March 12. The man apparently cut the corer of the intersection in the car, spun it sideways and sent it over a steep bank, where it rolled over onto its roof. A 20-year-old male passenger received minor injuries and dam- age was estimated at $2,000. Break-in attempt A Simpson Road resident who left the house for two hours March 15 retumed home to find someone had! attempted to break in by using a hammer and screwdriver on the front door’s dead bolt.
