_gNews e Discussions towards a water- front replacement for Sanscha Hall should continue, Memorial Park Society members decided Wednesday, reversing an earlier decision to halt negotiations. North Saanich council decided Monday to send a message to the society, recommending no action be taken until the present Memo- tial Park Society property is expropriated. Ald. Bailin was also concemed that Waterfront hall talks still on the waterfront proposal violated the conditions of the park society trust. A lawyer will speak to a future meeting of the board on the rust. North Saanich Ald. Art McKin- non said the park society should not continue discussions until the board learns if the proposal violates the trust. But Ald. Brian Dunic thought the board should do so keep options open, since the situation may change.
