So did medical officials and the
city council. Many people in
North Saanich and Sidney already
use commercial B.t. preparations

for protection of their gardens.
There is, of course, much more
to the gypsy moth story. The
Victoria reference libraries of
Agriculture Canada, B.C. Forest
Service, Forestry Canada, and
UVic are filled with related scien-
tific information. I urge readers to
visit these libraries and discuss the
problem with Agriculture Canada
scientists or with forestry officials
