Two injured in highway mishap A motorcyclist and a motorist were taken to hospital with minor injuries after an accident on the Pat Bay Highway at McDonald Park Roads about 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, Sidney RCMP said. The driver of a 1984 Honda motorcycle, 18-year-old Thomas Andrew McLaughlin, was charged with failing to yield after he apparently moved into the path of a Toyota driven northbound on the highway by a 38-year-old Sidney woman. ®W Police said McLauglin stopped while westbound on McDonald Park Road, then pulled into the path of the car. Both drivers were taken to hospital with minor neck injuries. Glass door broken A sliding glass door at the Hyland Fish and Chips shop on Resthaven Drive was broken sometime Wednesday evening, Sidney RCMP said. Police are searching for informa- tion on who may be responsible - for the crime and ask those with information to call RCMP or Cn- meStoppers. Husbandry Skills involved in raising beef ‘cattle are shared by young mem- bers of the Saanich Peninsula 4-H Beef Club.
