changes. The speed of events
and the way they took place will
remain outstanding historically.
We can only conclude that the
master plan is in the hands of a
great Creator. What has hap-
pened, what is happening, and
what will happen is in the Lords
hand. What is unfolding in hu-
man affairs is basically happen-
ing that we humans may realize
“that the most high rules in the
kingdom of men, and gives it to
whomsoever he will’ Daniel
4:25. Mikhail Gorbachev, the
Russian leader, has been forced
to alter the Russian For-
eign Policies, and to call for
reforms that are now sweeping
through Europe. Almost every
nation in Europe is being affect-
ed, and will be affected. Can it
be that God does not intend that
men should destroy the earth
with nuclear wars? Can it be
that what we are witnessing is
amalgamation of Ecclesiastical
and Political forces that will
challenge Gods divine purpose
with the earth?? We also notice
that there is a policy that has
started the Jews in Russia re-
turning to Israel in sizeable
numbers. Once again, is the
words of the prophet coming to
pass before our eyes?? Jeremi-
ah 31-8 “Behold | will bring
them (the Jews) from the north
country (Russia?) and gather
them from the coasts of the
earth — hear, O ye nations, he
that scattered Israel shall gather
him, as a shepherd does his
flock” What is happening in the
world today assures us that God
is swiftly bringing to an end the
affairs of men, and in their plac-
es his kingdom will be estab-
lished, with Jesus Christ reign-
ing over the world in righteous-
ness, peace and equity.
