Accessories, boat taken from marina In separate incidents, a Boston Whaler boat and various boating accessories were stolen from the Port of Sidney marina last week, Sidney RCMP said. The 18-foot Boston Whaler, # aken Jan. 3, was later recovered, beached at Island View Beach Regional Park — minus its motor. Other items taken from the Sid- ney marina include an anchor, jib topes, two outboard motors, oars, a gas tank and a battery. The dinghy was not inflated and was inside a bright orange carrying case. It is valued at about $1,000, police said. Door damaged in attempted break-in Entry was not made to a house in the 6700-block Wallace Drive but someone tried quite hard to get in. : About $100 damage was done to a door inside the garage that leads inside the house, Central Saanich police said.
