We’ll have to pick it up a notch, that’s for sure.” Although the Warriors are in last place in their Junior A league, they're still at a higher level than the Junior B players, Mowat said. “If we win, fine, but if we lose, that’s fine too.” He said the Junior B players often get pumped up in anticipa- tion of the game because some players have been cut from Junior A teams and feel they have some- thing to prove. Game time is 8 p.m. Thursday. Then, Sunday the Peninsula Eagles will travel to Parksville for an exhibition match against the Abbotsford Arrows. Monday the Eagles play the Juan de Fuca Gulls in the Rec Centre, then are at home Tuesday to meet the Kerry Park Islanders before travelling to Saanich for a game against the Braves Wednes- day, Jan. 10.
