Here - the school consisted of ap- proximately four classrooms. ‘The school then moved back to Chuck Mudrak, my venerable boss in the CFAX sports department, lined me up for a big fall on Saturday: Chuck entered both of us in homecoming races at UVic. The students, through a number of projects had managed to raise $15,000. The municipality was so proud of the students for raising that sum of money, that. it. finaneed. the remainder required. (Dave Shearer for his hard work he did for us. On. October’ 15, Esquimalt Senior Secondary held a Survival Day. This special day was held in relation to the Pollution of today. Professors, M.P.’s, Biologists, Chemists, reporters, and many more were invited to the school to take part in panel discussions, relating to the different types of Pollution, such as air; soil, water, etc. This has been the biggest event at the school this year, as it made more students become aware of the facts of the dangers of pollution and how they can help to end these problems. Other events this. year have been our Inter-House Pep Rally in September and an Inter-House Swim Meet at the Crystal Garden in October.
