Funeral. Chapel of Roses in
Sidney is Greg Lonsdale, who
with his wife, Karen took up
residence on June 1.
Born in Duncan, Mr. Lonsdale
followed his calling in that city
for five years, and for the past
two years has been on the staff of
Sand’s at the Victoria establish-
ment.

McTavish Road.

The Victoria Centre of Psychic Research will hold classes
on ‘‘mediumship”’ in September. Presumably, anyone who
wants to learn will be able to scare up a few ghosts of their
very own. The group has been holding weekly lectures and
mini-seances at a small, secluded house at 835 Violet Av enue
near Marigold Park. To sign up for the mediumship course

in the soil, and the slanted wheels at
the rear press the earth around them.
This one unit with its crew can plant
12,000 cabbages a day.

ponement of a North Saanich and Sidney Chamber of
Commerce meeting last week. to Thursday, June 25.

Mayor Stanley Dear will be guest speaker and will outline
municipal park projects. A question period will follow the
address and president\ Len Siver anticipates lively
discussion,

Chamber members will also be asked to discuss business
closing hours and Beacon Avenue parking.
