George Cumpston. on Monday night. Emphasizing that his estimates are based on preliminary figures, Ald. Cumpston gave Council a brief resume of. expected costs. Policing of the municipality which last year cost $37,700 will this year be increased by $8,350; public. works which totalled $75,600 in 1969, will go up to $3,000.
