All area elementary schools were. involved in the league soccer program, with the smaller schools such as Durrance and Prospect Lake, and MeTavish and Sansbury combining form one entry. A i0-game schedule was completed by each team in both the North or South Division. the entries being geographically determined. Keating won every match in goals and allowing only. four. goal record of 24 to five, but lost two games and were four. points behind. Royal Oak headed the southern league standings, losing only one game and scoring 37 goals to four. And in the league cham- pionship game Royal Oak beat Keating by two goals to nil. In the play-offs, Keating was eliminated by Cordova. Bay ‘A’ , which was runner-up to Royal Oak in the league competition.
