Aschool re-union was held recently in Harri is, Sask., those attending
from Sidney included Alderman W.W. Gardner; Mr. and Mrs. N
Reimer; and James Gardner. A guest of honour at the event was, the
father of John Callard, Weiler Ave., who was principal of the school at
one time. The late Mr. Gardner, Sr. operated a flour mill in Harris,
before coming to Sidney with his family several years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Hoover, have recently returned from a vacation

in Tennesse, where Mr. Hoover’s garnddaughter, Brenda Greff,
graduated as a dentist hygenist and was then married shortly after.
They then visited in the states of Kentucky and North Carolina,
returning by bus the southern route stopping at the Carlsbad Caverns,
El Paso, Phoenix and Long Beach.

Miss M.L. Lackey, Moose Jaw, Sask., is vacationing in Sidney.

week holiday in Europe.

Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Gardner, Third St., returned home on Wed-
nesday following a holiday in the interior of British Columbia as well
as Saskatchewan.

Weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. J. Easton, Seventh St. were
her son-in-law and. daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. White, Vancouver,
great-grandson Terry French, Vancouver, grandson Bobby Easton,
Prince George, and G. White.

Alderman and Mrs, W. W. Gardner were recent visitors at the home
of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hillis, Port Hardy.
