SPARA funds are richer by
approximately $150 as a result of.
a fashion show they sponsored at
the. Brentwood. Elementary
School on Monday, March 13th.
Spring fashions. were: presented
by Anna Allen, Brentwood Bay,
and were modeled by local ladies.
Makeup was done by Mrs. Eileen
Thorn, the local representative of

‘a cosmetics firm. A- delightful

entertainment was given by the
young dancers of the McGeachie
and Snow Dance School, and
refreshments were served.

Another. affair, which suffered
from too: much: competition. by
other affairs taking place on the
same. night, was. the concert
given in-the church on. Friday,
March 24th, by the Rotary Boys
Choir. Those that were able to
attend had a real musical treat,
and congratulations are due their
leader. Mr. Chandler, and their
accompanist, Mrs. McVie. It is
hoped that the next time the choir
visits Brentwood a larger
audience will be able to enjoy this
