With their: leaders, Mr. Paul Backhaus and -Mr. Murray. Christian, they travelled by truck from Sidney to the Koksilah River area, N.W. of Shawnigan Lake. -As their campsite was a mile and under two feet of snow, the boys had to don: snowshoes: and transport all their equipment by. - toboggans. This winter camp was mainly ‘under adverse conditions.
