One of- Victoria's most successful car dealers, Peter Dixon. who
owns and operates Ensign Motors. set out to. visit his good friend
- Roland Blackburn on the peninsula during Boxing Day. However, just
like the proverbial shoemaker. he had neglected to provide his
automobile with one crucial item: snowtires. Happily. he. cir-
cumvented this problem by ‘hitching’ a lift with another friend.

Gray and Eleanor Camphell were seen hurtling down the snow
covered slopes of the Experimental Farm, this weekend aboard large
inner tubes. ‘Il ache all over.” grinned Gray. the following day.

The prospect of eating Christmas dinner in solitary state amongst
her vegetarian children was alleviated for one Sidney resident Pat
Munson, whose parents and Victoria friends ‘ill-equipped for snowy
travel) found last-minute transportation in the cab of an oil truck.

rate dinners to some elderly residents of the community.

One holiday highlight for the Rev. and Mrs. Voysey and family was a
