to the first of what will now be an
annual event, over. 200 entries
“were. received.

The contest was judged by Mrs.

’ Muriel Love, operator. of Island
Art Supplies: cartoonist Nelson
Dewey:- and Review staff
member Mrs: A. O. Berry.

All entries received showed
imagination and it was obvious
that. much work had gone into
many of the works of art.

The large number of entries
and. the high .calibre. of work
made the judging a most difficult
