A Time For Action

This week the organization familiarly known as

‘campaign to build and equip ice rinks for skating and
curling on three acres of leased federal government

Preliminary work on this major recreational project
has been going on steadily behind the scenes for over 12
months. In order to ensure the continued financial}:
support of Sidney Rotary Club, sponsors of. the original
project, SPARA was required to register as a Society
according to provincia! law; to negotiate an acceptable
site for building, and to present plans calculated to
advance the scheme from dream into reality.
