I attended the ‘Sidney . Teens’ .
“meeting last week and: Was im-"
pressed by the youngsters’ en-
thusiasm,

. They’ ve .been going strong fe for
approximately 5 1/2 years now
and obviously. have every in-
“tention of carrying on for.as slong
as they are able.

Trustees are appointed by the
teens themselves and I was happy -
to notice they are guided by these
trustees and are not domineered.

I understand there are two
teen clubs.in Sidney - a new
one has been formed called “Teen
Now, as a newcomer,
I don’t presume to understand
the whys and wherefores, nor do
I intend to take a platform either
way. I will say, however, that
the one ,aspect which. bothers:
me is~this: . setting one group
of teenagers against another is

Heaven knows, these dances, plus

teenagers... - Sports: isn’t enough;
