Amending a Regional Strategic Plan

Any amendment to a Regional Strategic Plan would have to undergo the same process as for plan
adoption. In the light of the length of this procedure, it is unlikely that the Regional Strategic Plan
would be amended very often except as part of a regular plan update every five to ten years.
Monitoring the Effectiveness of Regional Strategic Planning

As a matter of policy, the Greater Vancouver Regional District would monitor the effectiveness of
these arrangements in providing positive linkages among the various decision-makers involved in
establishing and implemenung @ Regional Strategic Plaa.
