SUBJECT: Royal Canadian Memorial Cairn Public Works
Committee February 10, 1987

Recommendation:

That the Royal Canadian Legion be allowed to install a
Memorial Cairn on the grass area [In front of thelr bullding
subject to the exact location being discussed with the City
Engineer to ensure that there are no service conflicts.

Background and Comments:

The attached tetter was reviewed by the Public Works
Committee and the Committee has no objections to granting this
request.

As the proposal did not Include a sketch, It will be
necessary for the Engineer to check out the actual location to
ensure that there are no services underneath.
