Indian Reserve Land.

That a water service to the nursery on Indian Reserve land along
Pitt River Road be approved subject to the applicant obtaining a
business license, improving and paving driveway access to the property,
and paying for the Installation of No Parking signs along Pitt River
Road to prevent customer parking along the road.

From the City Engineer, April 26th, 1984 regarding the Kingsway
Bridge Replacement.

That the contract for the Kingsway Bridge replacement be awarded to
M.D.M. Enterprises Ltd. In the amount of $796,597.33.

SUBJECT to confirmation from the Ministry of Transportation &
Highways that a revenue sharing grant is available to cover 50% of the
cost.

From the City Clerk, April 18th, 1984 regarding train whistling
legislation,

Seconded by Alderman Laking:

That the District of Coquitlam be advised that the City of Port
Coquitlam is prepared to give favourable consideration to a by law
prohtbiting train whistling at the Westwood Street crossing but will
not be proceeding with such a bylaw for the Kingsway Avenue crossing.

Carried.
